HOW IT ALL STARTED
With great people, modern and cool products emerge.
Every business has a beginning — and ours started with friendship.
It all began when Lee and his wife, Terri, were doing some work around my home. As we spent time together, we became friends, sharing ideas and creative thoughts back and forth. One day, Lee cut a beautiful live-edge mantle for my daughter. As soon as I saw it, I said, “I could probably sell those for you.”
Lee’s response was simple:
“You sell them, and I’ll cut them.”
And just like that, an idea turned into a business. What started as a casual conversation between friends has grown into something truly special.
Today, Live Edge Designs and More by Elaine creates and offers handcrafted live edge mantles, shelves, and home décor pieces made with care, craftsmanship, and creativity.
Each piece of wood has its own natural beauty — unique grain patterns, organic edges, and character that can’t be replicated. We believe in preserving that natural charm while turning it into something both functional and beautiful for your home.
